Travel Immunisations

Travellers should get in touch with the surgery at least 6 to 8 weeks before the date of travel by completing an online form or Travel Assessment Form (DOCX, 38KB) and returning it to Central Surgery.

You will be contacted by the surgery who will advise if you need to book an appointment for vaccinations or to attend the travel clinic. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS.

Please visit the following website NaTHNaC – Home (travelhealthpro.org.uk) and select ‘county information’  to find out all vaccine requirements, malaria advice and any other risks for the country or countries you are visiting.

Travelling within 6 weeks

If you are travelling within the next 6 weeks, you will need to access an external travel clinic such as www.citydoc.org.uk. Alternatively you can locate and access your own external travel clinic. Please be aware, there will be a charge for these vaccinations.
